With their own private balcony, guests are able to witness the exquisite canopy of the rainforest, and enjoy the incredible views of the National Park that is home to almost 400 species of birds, 140 species of mammals, 116 species of amphibians and reptiles, over 500 species of trees, and more than 6,000 species of insects. This ensures that there is plenty of opportunity for guests to interact with the wide range of the living beings that make up the complex ecosystems in this part of the world.
These luxury tents are perfect for couples, as they sleep up to two people in either two singles beds or one double bed. Guests will also have access to their own private bathroom complete with hot water and electricity. This unique lodge has everything guests could wish for to enjoy their stay in Costa Rica in ultimate luxury. The communal space, The Rancho, is where guests can come together to dine and relax. The dimensions of the structure reflect those of the surrounding rainforest, with a towering roof soaring 25 feet over one of the largest ranchos on the Osa Peninsula. The spacious deck is ideal for birdwatching, stargazing, or just absorbing the energy of the rainforest.
The Rancho houses the restaurant, bar and kitchen. This is where guests will dine on a spacious deck fully immersed in nature. Three quality meals a day are included in the booking fee and are based on the exotic native dishes of Costa Rica, all accompanied with natural juices, sodas or tropical concoctions. Everything at the lodge is prepared fresh each day and there is a strong focus on organic ingredients, with many of the fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices grown onsite. Guests also have the option of dining in the onsite restaurant 'El Eclipse Total', which is open all day and features international cuisine. The dining area is open and spacious, affording comfort for dozens of guests. There’s even space for an occasional rainforest dance!
The Rancho is also home to the reception and library, along with a gift shop which offers not only necessities and souvenirs, but also an interesting array of boutique items selected from international artisans. Secluded in a beautiful garden alongside The Rancho rests a natural rock pool perfect for sunbathing, cooling off from a vigorous tour, or just sitting and enjoying one of the most beautiful vistas in the world.
