Located on the Caribbean Island of Dominica, this spacious cottage can provide up to seven guests with a glamping getaway. Throughout the cottage, there are two king-size beds, two twin sofa beds, and another sofa bed, meaning up to seven guests can stay here. The bathroom has a shower, a toilet, and a face basin, all of which are solar powered. Towels and linens are kindly provided.
The cottage measures 500 square feet, and it’s actually the upstairs loft of a large stone villa. Below this loft is where the site’s owners live. It sits along the Taberi River. In the kitchen, glampers will find a stove, a microwave oven, a fridge, and kitchenware, so simple meals can be prepared in the cottage.
This villa’s surroundings are quite lovely, there’s an Indian gazebo along the river and a landscaped garden, a great place for guests to sit peacefully and enjoy the seclusion typical of a small Caribbean island. There’s also an outdoor barbecue available for use, perfect for grilling up some dinner under the evening sky.
This glamping site produces its own electricity with solar and wind systems, and water is sourced from rainwater and the river. While this site is eco-friendly, it is also modern. Glampers will have access to the internet and an espresso machine. There is also an on-site restaurant that serves delicious organic food. Other facilities include a tour desk, car rentals, and a mini market.
