This exquisite eco lodge is nestled away in the historic town of Siwa in the Western Desert of Egypt and is one of the most secluded settlements in the country. The natural beauty, extraordinary views, isolation, unique character, and historical association draws in a number of travelers all year round. Siwa Oasis is a vast region of date palms and olive trees extending over the horizon accompanied by villages, as well as a central lake. Popular local sights include Temple of the Oracle, Temple of Amun, Cleopatra's pool, and various tombs of Graeco-Roman mummies. There are daily buses that head to Cairo, approximately eight and a half hours away, where glampers will find the Cairo International Airport.

Horse riding is available at the facility, as well as a number of hiking trails that traipse through the historical town and nearby sites. Ghazal Safari - Day Tours provide guests with the opportunity to head out with a well-versed guide and experience the majestic landscape of rock formations, sparkling salt lakes, lush vegetation, and freshwater springs merging with the serene sand dunes. There are a number of landmarks and sights that guests will want to head to including the Shali Fortress lookout, the Temple of the Oracle of Amun, Cleopatra's Pool, and the Mountain of the Dead. There is also a variety of historical sites for glampers to venture to, as well as ancient ruins and sacred/religious sites. A favorite Siwa excursion is the freshwater lake at Bir Wahid, which is positioned on the edge of the Great Sand Sea.
