Prepare for a unique glamping getaway at these outdoor tent cottages near Bourdeaux, France. Each safari lodge tent can accommodate six guests and comes complete with electricity, linens, and towels.
There are ten of these accommodations in total, and they are spread throughout the whole property. Each accommodation is nine meters long, 3.5 meters in height, and five meters in width. They are settled on top of wooden platforms, slightly elevated to minimize insects from entering and to give guests a flat and comfortable surface.
They are fully furnished with beds and comfortable seating. Each has an outdoor patio with a refrigerator and gas stove, a dining table and chairs, and storage cupboards. Outside, glampers will also find a hammock for their very own exclusive use.
There are separate sanitary facilities at your disposal, equipped with children’s as well as wheelchair accessible bathrooms. There are eight different showers and washbasins, and eight toilets. There is hot water available in these facilities as well as a washing machine, and a free ice pack service.
There is a communal 8x18 pool, with a smaller section for babies, and a playground available for the mini guests.
There is a large terrace with a bar, and there is a lounge area where you will have access to wifi for free. Both have areas where you can enjoy a meal if you are having a catered stay – breakfast and dinner services are offered with varying menus.
There is also the possibility to have bread delivered to your tent – you must inquire about this service at the main building.

There are special prices associated with each package, and with some activities you will be provided packed lunches and snacks. You can also take a tour with a guide. There are locations on the property for you to leave your bikes and motorcycles that are secured and covered, and there are special facilities for you to clean your bikes. There is a nearby location where you can rent bicycles.
Off of the property and in surrounding locations there is also a lot for you to see and do. Mountain biking, canoeing and hiking are all possibilities, as well as rock climbing, swimming and donkey riding.
Local villages such as Crest, known for its tower, the Saint-Sauveur Church and the Protestant Church are close by. Dieulefit, famous for its 2,000-year-old pottery lineage and silk is just a car ride away, as well as many others interesting places. One very important town of this region is Bourdeaux, only 4km away. This village has two main castles that back in the mid 14th century had created a lot of tension between their respective families. In the town of Poet-Laval, and others, you will find many interesting museums and be able to participate in many cultural activities.
