Charming Igloo-Style Room in the Alps of France
This glamping site is a very unique one, made entirely out of snow and nothing else. Nestled above the Valley of the Tarentaise, facing the Pierra-Menta and Mont Blanc, and surrounded by an amazing ski resort, this glamping site is truly like no other.
This particular room comes with a double mattress and a sleeping bag. Despite what many think, the inside of an igloo is not too cold. Although they are made of snow and ice, human heat rises the temperature quite quickly to more than 10°C (50°F). Standard skiing clothing is enough to keep guests warm.
Other facilities on site include a bar and restaurant, and a communal dining area. Breakfast is included and parking is available on site. Guests can use the services at the spa for a fee, and of course, there are ski slopes nearby for guests to practise their skiing and snowboarding.
When guests arrive at this glamping site, they’ll be welcomed with a warm fire and offered a hot beverage. After getting a tour of the igloo village, guests will be directed to their igloo where they can enjoy a nice hot meal. There is also a large ice lounge with three rooms and ice sculptures. There are also dry toilets on site.
