Idyllic Safari Tent with a Pool for a Glamping Getaway in Brittany, France

This property is located in Northern Brittany just off the English Chanel on the coast of Goëlo on the grounds of an old 19th-century castle. This castle is on the top of a hill, providing it with a magnificent view of the sea - though this is not the exact location of the retreat. The cabin is placed very near to the old Breton Trinity Chapel, giving guests even more activities to do and things to see.

The town of Plouha has many attractions. Though it is small, there are seven historical chapels to visit, it has the highest sea-side cliffs in all of Brittany, and it is close to five famous, beautiful beaches. One of the chapels is of Kermaria-year-Iskuit (“House of Mary which Makes Health”). It was built in the 13th century and presents historical frescoes such as the “Dance of Death”.

The closest beach is Port Moguer, only one kilometer away. The Gwin Zegal beach possesses the oldest ancestral mooring buoys in Europe, used as a shelter for boats with trees planted at equal distances and held up by rocks. There is a famous island nearby called L’Ile de Bréhat that guests can drive to but vehicles are not allowed on the island itself.

The famous Mont Saint-Michel is 145 kilometers away but most definitely worth the drive! This region of France also has a great number of megaliths and dolmens that glampers can visit.
