This secluded tree house vacation rental is located near Chalais Abbey in Raray, France and can accommodate two guests for a unique honeymoon or romantic getaway. A spiral staircase soars 25 meters, approximately 82 feet, into the treetops to provide a completely secluded nature retreat. The bedroom has a full-size bed, and there is a bathroom with a sink, a toilet, and a shower. Linens, towels, and bathrobes are provided.
This tree house features modern amenities, such as running water, electricity, a coffeemaker, and heat. There are also candles for guests who just want to set a romantic mood. A wooden table with two chairs makes a great spot to sip a cup of coffee or read a book.
Outside, guests will find a spacious deck with a table, two chairs, and a wooden Nordic spa bath/hot tub. Guests can soak into the warm waters of this wooden barrel with a glass of wine and the night sky as company. These tree house cabins are located along a golf course and the Chateau de Raray Estate, yet they are secluded from each other to allow for a peaceful and serene stay. There are pedestrian walkways throughout the property. The on-site restaurant, Chateau de Raray, is a National Historic Site and has an elegant restaurant that serves lunch.
Tree house cabins range from a family-friendly height of 22 feet to a whopping 82 feet into the sky. The average height is about 32 feet. A basket attached to a rope with a winch transports luggage to the top of the tree house so that guests don't have to carry heavy bags up the stairs and ladders.
This property adopts environmentally-friendly practices such as recycling, promoting local products, and using a natural water purification system and eco-friendly construction materials. There are fruit trees, animals, and beehives on-site.
