The park provides habitats to a variety of wildlife, such as otters, linnets, short-toed snake eagles, and migratory birds.
The site is about an hour and 15 minutes from Limoges, where the nearest airport—Limoges-Bellegarde Airport—is located. This airport has seasonal and year-round connections to Paris, Lyon, London, and a few other cities in both the UK and France.
