Safari Tent Perched Atop a Watchtower in Provence, France

Tented cabin in Apt, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

4 guests

The 15th century watchtower sits on a property next to a castle overlooking the beautiful Luberon hills and the Durance valley. The 82 ft. stone watchtower house has a bathroom with shower, toilet and 2 sinks, and a kitchen with dishwasher, fridge and oven. The dining area has satellite TV. The stairs outside lead to a spacious terrace and up to the lodging tent with a separate toilet and A/C.

The roof and terrace are built with larch wood and the balustrade is made from iron. The tent has 2 separate bedrooms, both complete with wardrobes. There is a table with chairs for dining and lounging chairs. All lighting for the kitchen, dining area, terrace and outside at the cave can be controlled by remote so they can be switched on and off from anywhere in the accommodation.

There is no TV or internet available in the castle itself. On the property, you'll find 2 separate swimming pools, one in front of the castle, the other next to the barn. On-site you'll find a trampoline, a badminton court, and a soccer field. Say hello to the friendly dog Dingo and the cute chickens.
