This amazing 19th-century cottage is the perfect glamping accommodation near Toulouse in southern France and provides easy access to a powerhouse of outdoor recreation. The Gouffre de Padirac is one of the largest chasms in Europe and was discovered by the French explorer, Edouard Martel. Over time, the chasm has as often been called the devil’s hole as it is 33 meters wide and tunnels 75 meters into the earth.
For the artists and history buffs, Saint Cirq La Popie is a sight to behold. Sitting high above the Lot River, this cliff-hanger of a village offers dramatic scenery for any budding photographer.
