Tree house • 2 guests • Private Kitchen
This secluded tree house in the village of Monopari on the Island of Crete, Greece, will be both an exciting and unique experience for guests staying in the studio accommodation. With a tree trunk serving as one of the beams for the roof and a skylight that opens to the night stars above, guests will feel like they're sleeping outside while nestled in the warmth of this cozy tree house.
The room itself is comfortable and chic, with stylish retro linen, tapestries, and red and purple mood lighting set into the wall above the bed. The comfortable double bed is situated under the exposed tree and beams—accommodating two guests—with a kitchen counter, mini-refrigerator, washing machine, and dryer tucked away against the opposite wall. The brief climb down the ladder will lead guests to the nearby swimming pool and gardens, all while enjoying the privacy of the evergreen oak woods that surround the house.
This studio accommodation is the only tree house on the island of Crete, hidden away the trees near the village of Monopari. The tree house sleeps two guests, with a wrap around porch, cozy breakfast table with two chairs on the deck, and a beam-studded diagonal ceiling with a curtained-windows letting in light from every angle.
Glampers will have also breakfast provided for them over the balcony in a basket, with tea and coffee included for a peaceful morning in the trees. The studio tree house comes with plates, linens, and a half-bathroom, as well as access to the nearby pool after a brief climb down from the elevated accommodation.

Monopari is a small village in the mountains near the town of Rethymnon, in the Crete region of Greece. There is a medley of Greek, Mediterranean, and seafood restaurants within easy driving by road from the tree house, like the popular Castellos Tavern and The Cretan Flavor Place in Rethymnon. Visitors will have a taste of the true, indigenous food of Crete while staying in this accommodation in the Evergreen Oaks, and with a car, guests can also go on breathtaking, scenic drives through the farmlands and mountains nearby.
Rethymnon, the third biggest town in Crete on the coast, is just 20 minutes to the north of Monopari by car. The area is thousands of years old, rich in Minoan, Roman and Venetian history for guests to explore. The Old Town of Rethymnon sits on a harbor in the Sea of Crete, where visitors can go to the beach or tour the ancient buildings that still are still standing in the area. A number of historic sites like the Sacred Monastery of Arkadi and the Moni Preveli Monastery are also worth seeing, and the town is dotted with comfortable cafes and inviting restaurants where visitors can take a break and enjoy the sun. Guests can also take trips out to the Kotsifou Canyon and other natural phenomena along the beautiful coast of Crete.
