The hosts recommend that guests check out Fossabrekkur near Rjúpnavellir which is an easy hike near the retreat and there’s also a very beautiful waterfall only 700 meters from the accommodation and it only takes like 10 minutes to walk there. Guests should also head to the truly enchanting Þjófafoss waterfall which is near Búrfell, just 15 minutes away.
