The city of Jaisalmer is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is also known as “The Golden City (of India),” due to the yellow hue all of the sand and sandstone used throughout the entire city’s architecture, giving it a “golden” appearance. In Jaisalmer, there are many fascinating historical, cultural, and natural sites to see, including the lakes of Gadisar and Amar Sagar, the Sonar (or Jaisalmer) Fort, the Mandir Palace, and a number of haveli (private mansions in India).

Guests can coordinate with the luxury camping site to organize a ride from the site to the city of Jaisalmer for an extra fee.

The rentals' rates are based on double occupancy with the option to include a child under the age of five for free. An extra bed can be added for $40.77, but that only includes the bed rental. The addition of another person is an extra fee apart from the bed fee. For the addition of a child between the ages of six and 11, the fee is $16.27, and to add another person age 11 or older, the fee is $40.68.
