It is located on the road connecting Gopeshwar with Guptkashi, so visitors will love watching the morning sun rays hit the stunning Himalayas. The nearest airport is the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun District, just under six hours away.

In particular, the Chandrashila route begins in Chopta and hikers can enjoy the easy-medium five-kilometer hike. The popular Deoria Tal hike is also a popular option that begins in the region.
