Wadi Rum is a stunning, protected desert oasis in southern Jordan, where glampers will find jaw-dropping sandstone mountains. The area is famed for its natural arches, such as the Burdah Rock Bridge, along with its abundance of prehistoric rock carvings, caverns, and chasms. For big-city life, glampers can head to nearby Aqaba, where they can check out the Islamic-era Aqaba Fort or pay a visit to the Aqaba Archaeological Museum. There are also a variety of delicious restaurants, cafes, eclectic shops, and friendly locals.
