Description of Glamping Units
There are 6 safari tents and 2 wooden cabins available for rent. The tents are covered with a fly-sheet to protect from the rain and a knitted shade net for sun protection. This double protection ensures that the accommodations remain cool and dry no matter how hot and humid the weather gets. Each tent sleeps up to 2 adults and 3 children, and has a private bathroom and toilet. All of the tents are mounted onto wooden decks approx. 5 - 10 feet above the ground. The bathrooms are constructed out of recovered wood from antique creole houses. Bath sinks are carved from a single piece of wood and they sit on old wooden doors. Bed mattresses are put on transportation palettes and potato boxes are used for storage.
Each of the 2 wooden cabins has a small porch under the shade of mango trees. Both have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. They too sleep up to 2 adults and 3 children. Every piece of furniture on site is 100% movable and can be conveniently re-located. Read More
