This site is on a 14-hectare property in the Reserva del Manatí Park, translated as the Reserve of the Manatee. There are extensive gardens for you to enjoy, and so much more to see. It is practically on the Guerrero Lagoon, where you will be able to spend a lot of time and enjoy beautiful views of mangroves, orchids, bromeliads, and endless bird species. This property is close to many Mexican beaches, where you can rest on the white sand. There is a manatee, Daniel, living in semi-captivity 4 km away that you can visit with a guide. This is intended to create environmental awareness for those that are interested in learning about their surrounding environment.

The town of Calderitas has many things for you to see, from restaurants to boat rides bringing you to the small island of Tamalcab. The archaeological zone of Oxtankah is after the town of Calderitas, but still close by. It borders the coast, so not only will you have amazing structures to visit and observe, but you also have amazing views of the Guerrero Lagoon. This zone used to be one of the principal towns during the Classical Period. Chetumal is the town halfway between Mexico and Central America, and is on the border of Belize. It is the location where ZazilHa and Gonzalo Guerrero were married, explaining why it is also called “the slice of miscegenation”. The Museum of Mayan Culture can be found here, recognized as the largest and most complete museum dedicated to the Mayan nation.
