Scenic views
Erg Chigaga (alternatively transliterated as Chegaga) is one of the two major ergs of the Moroccan portion of the Sahara—and of the two, it is the most remote. Accessible only by 4x4 vehicle, camel, or foot, the erg presents guests with a seemingly endless sea of sand rising and falling in all directions, as it rolls off to the horizon in a series of undulating dunes, some of which reach heights of up to 60 meters (196 feet).
M'hamid El Ghizlane is about an eight hour-drive from Marrakesh. From the village, guests walk, ride a camel, or drive to the glamping site with one of the site's guides.
