Retro Caravan for a Unique Oceanside Getaway in Beachlands, Auckland
This retro caravan is situated on a pretty, scenic coastline park alongside the coastal village of Beachlands, Auckland. The hosts have selected some stunning sites here that command sparkling sea vistas over the Hauraki Gulf and across to Rangitoto. Ancient pohutukawa surrounds guests and a coastal walkway is at the doorstep, this track takes guests down to the many choices of white shell beaches with pohutukawa canopies and rainforest and mangrove walks.
Fitted out with everything guests could possibly need for a perfect, blissful getaway, glampers will find a chic interior furnished with a bespoke kitchen that has everything needed to whip up delicious meals including a gas stovetop and an under-bench oven. The table converts into a plush double bed that comes with luxury linens and pillows that complement designer throws. Bathroom facilities on the campsite are clean and modern; however, there is a solar shower in the caravan should guests require it.
Outside, glampers can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while admiring the waves gently kiss the shore in the morning. The barbecue is ideal for grilling up a delicious lunch and there is a table and chairs for relaxing or dining al fresco.
This unique vacation rental offers modern conveniences that will make any discerning glamper feel right at home during their stay. Luxury linens and towels are provided by the hosts and glampers will find a fully-equipped kitchen with a gas stovetop, an oven, and a fridge as well as lighting, cupboard space, and a JVC surround-sound system.
Outside, there is a barbecue along with a table and chairs for dining al fresco. Additionally, glampers have access to kayaks or paddleboards by request and the beach is a two-minute walk away down to the water's edge from the park location.
Alternatively, there is the ocean view site at nearby pine harbor reserve that the caravan is also located near which is on the water's edge.

The hosts also hire retro bikes with baskets to explore the coastal cycleways and tracks on their doorstep. Guests should ask the hosts about the latest new location, on the water's edge at Pine Harbour reserve, the gateway to the marina and views of Rangitoto!
Beachlands is a typical beach village bound by the sea on two sides and offers a small but vibrant downtown where glampers will find stores and restaurants. Other attractions include Pine Harbour Marina, Formosa Golf Resort, and downtown Auckland, which can be reached by ferry or car. Auckland International Airport is just 23 kilometers from Beachlands.

Every Saturday, glampers can visit the French market at Marina Green and sample local cuisine while listening to soft jazz. The center of Auckland is about 40 minutes away and makes for a great day trip for the family to explore the bustling city and all that it has to offer, including the iconic Sky Tower, which has views of Viaduct Harbour.
