This vacation rental is located in Katikati, New Zealand, and can accommodate up to five guests. This lodge features a farm-style construction and decor, as well as a private entrance. This lodge has three bedrooms and three full baths. The first and second bedrooms feature one queen-size bed each, while the third bedroom can be a pair of twin beds or a super king double bedroom. Please advise on booking which configuration you would prefer. Each full bath has one toilet, one sink, and one shower. Linens are provided.

In the living area, guests will find two sofas and Wi-Fi. There is a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave, and some dishes. Nearby, there is a shared laundry room, a shared television room with a pool table, and a shared kitchen.

Outside, guests will find five hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens and produce to choose from.

Glampers will enjoy a range of facilities at this property, including a shared pool table, a shared flat-screen television with a DVD player, and provided books, puzzles, and games. There is also a wood-fired pizza oven and a gas grill for guests to use, along with included Wi-Fi throughout the property. A coin-operated washing machine and clothes dryer are both available. Outside, there are landscaped gardens with seasonal produce that glampers are welcome to use.

COVID-19 Actions

The Covid Tracer QR code is available for guests to scan to their app on their phone. Guests are provided with hand sanitiser. In between bookings a thorough clean is carried out following government advised protocol. We give our guests space but are available when needed. Reception hours are between 8am and 10am and between 5pm and 7pm. We can be contacted by mobile phone if needed during the day. We are usually at home, working on the orchard.

While visiting Katikati, glampers should be sure to spend a day hiking at the Kaimai-Mamaku Forest Park, where local wildlife can be seen as well as some historic logging and mining sites. On Friday nights, there is a Katikati Farmer's Market, where glampers can purchase fresh produce to take back to the property and prepare. The Katikati Bird Gardens are nearby and offer bird-feeding to visitors, or glampers could check out the Haiku Walkway with its largest collection of haiku stones outside of Japan. The Uretara River Bird Walk offers birds in their natural habitat, as well as a relaxing and interesting stroll. Waihi Beach is a nearby surfing spot and the Hauraki Rail Trail at Karangahake Gorge is a great spot for a cycling tour. Guests can also enjoy perfect views of the Milky Way and can count shooting stars from the peaceful orchard without the light pollution of the town.
