    For guests wishing to seek out the coast for the day they should head east towards the Pacific ocean and go to the coastal town of Oamaru. Oamaru is home to the enormous Moeraki boulders on the sea front of the Pacific ocean. For activities closer to the property guests can go to the Waitaki river to partake in some fishing and boating activities. Guests can also rent bikes and cycle some of the famous Alps-2-Ocean cycle trails which is dubbed as the longest bike trail in the whole of New Zealand. For a good hike, guests should venture up to Lake Aviemore and walk on the Deep Stream Track a two km trail that follows a flooded canyon. Guests should look out for the local wildlife as they explore this incredible area.
