Staveley

A small town in the Ashburton District, Staveley is a quaint little town home to long pastures and farmland. Although a small town, you’ll still find a shop, café, and museum that houses exhibits foretelling the history of the town. You’ll even find a natural ice rink in the humble town. North of the town is Arthur’s Pass, where you’ll have access to plenty of scenic landscapes great for outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and swimming. As such, Staveley is an interesting pit stop before reaching the scenic Mt. Hutt and Christchurch.
