Bocas, Bocas del Toro

Detailed location provided after booking

Scenic views
This resort can be found on the secluded beach of Old Point (Punta Vieja), on the southeast tip of Bastimentos Island in an area renowned for its natural beauty right across from the Zapatillas Keys of the Bastimentos Island National Marine Park in the archipelago of Bocas del Toro. It is a remote location, about a 45 minute scenic boat ride from Bocas del Toro. The boat ride is gorgeous and goes through the waters of Bastimentos Marine National Park.

Between jungle and sea, this comfortable and private retreat is perfectly integrated into the lush tropical environment that surrounds it. The resort elegantly combines the ancestral craftsmanship of the Ngobe-Bugle Indians with new technologies that allows the resort to run on solar power thus limiting the impact on the ecosystem.

  • Wildlife watching

There is a beach made of very fine sand in front of the bungalows which is great to stroll or play racket ball. Find your perfect sun bathing spot! Swimming in the lagoon in front of the resort is always safe. You can kayak and snorkel the reefs right in front of your bungalow by using the sit-on kayaks and the snorkel equipment provided by the resort. Corals are also accessible by swimming from the beach. Also, you can discover the nearby mangrove rivers and the Indian village of Salt Creek by kayak.

Many animals can be spotted near the bungalows and in the nature trails nearby such as night monkeys, white face monkeys, lizards, sloths, and caimans, as well as many birds. The nature trails allow you to get to the other side of the points, on the open sea side, where there are other beaches wilder and more exposed to the waves of the Caribbean Sea.
