This secluded treehouse cabin sits on stilts above the water, just a few meters away a colorful coral reef and the vibrant jungle of San Cristóbal Island, the perfect destination for a tropical vacation in Panama. The rental boasts a split-level design and is able to accommodate five people. There's a king-size bed upstairs, and a king-size sofa bed on the ground floor. There is also a hammock, which can be exchanged for a twin bed for the fifth guest. There's a composting eco-toilet outside, as well as a bamboo shower with amazing views of the jungle.

The transparent bug-proof walls allow guests to enjoy the ocean breeze and the views of the sumptuous surroundings, while kicking back and relaxing in the rustic wooden living area. If guests decide to cook for themselves, there's a kitchen equipped with a stove and a fridge, as well as some basic necessities. However, group meals are available to enjoy on the communal meeting area, prepared with local ingredients. Here, guests will also find kayaks, snorkels, and SUP boards to explore the waters. Guests should be aware that there are no roads, bars or restaurants, it's for the adventurous who want to experience rural life in the tropics, making it one of the most unique Panama vacation ideas. If guests need to head into town, they may be able to tag along in the hosts' boat for a small contribution for gas, otherwise a private trip must be arranged with the hosts for a fee.

Guests should note that this is a rustic place, not a luxury retreat. Guests should expect to:

WEAR BUG PROTECTION when being outdoors during dusk and dawn. There are screens so guests are protected from bugs indoors.

THERE ARE NO RESTAURANTS nearby and only one of the cabins has a kitchen, so most guests choose to participate in our meal plan. Our rotating teams of private chefs offer delicious communal meals for an additional fixed fee. Guests are asked to contact hosts to arrange this.

TO GET HERE, please ask us about our rideshare service, which is included in the $60 cleaning and transporation fee that you are charged at booking. We offer daily trips to either Bocas Town or Almirante. If you’d like to participate, please contact hosts.
