Our three-bedroom safari tent lies in a hectare of land on the banks of the Rio Alva and sleeps six people comfortably. The Praia Fluvial da Ronquiera is only 50 metres away.

The safari tent is equipped with a kitchen, with a 2-burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, hand blender, coffee machine and crockery. The dining area is suitable for the whole family, but during the warm summer months you can also sit outside on the veranda with a picnic bench. The luxurious bathroom has a toilet, sink and a real hammam rain shower.

If you aren't in the mood for cooking your own meals and fancy local Portuguese cuisine, a restaurant lies across the road serving home-made hearty Portuguese meals. Another restaurant is around 200 metres away across the river, while at the river beach 50 metres away there is a bar serving cold drinks perfect for that hot Portuguese summer.
