The accommodation is situated high up in a small all-natural woodland area. There are lots of beautiful rock formations, and a stream running through it (unfortunately in summer, it is dry) There is wildlife to observe like birds, rabbits, squirrels, and eagles. On the land, there is a large variety of native Portuguese trees for example cork oak. On the other side of town, there is also a protected national park and we are close to the Atlantic coast.
