This peaceful cottage rental is located in the small village of Straja near Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, Romania. The large yard and walking paths are perfect for taking advantage of this beautiful property. Six guests can sleep comfortably in the cottage. There is one bedroom with a full-size bed and a lounge with two sleeper sofas. The shared bathroom features a pedestal sink, corner shower, and toilet.
When not being used as beds, the sleeper sofas provide a comfortable sitting area where guests can visit or watch TV. There is a lovely dining table with seating for four or the rustic covered porch makes a nice space to gather for a meal prepared on the BBQ.
Guests will enjoy spending time in the large private yard, exploring the walking paths, and venturing up the hill for an incredible view. The hammock makes a perfect place to relax or take an afternoon nap. Guests should be on the lookout for deer that often visit the property.
Guests staying at the cottage will enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi as well as cable/satellite TV. The cottage can be kept cozy warm during the winter months with heating or a wood burning fireplace. A supply of towels, bed sheets, soap, shampoo and, toilet paper are kindly provided by the hosts and there is a washing machine available for guests use. Parking is available on the property.

Wet and wild fun can be had at Floresti Aqua Park where visitors can zip down waterslides, cool off in the pool, or lounge in the sun while the kids play in the spray ground. Hoia Forest is a popular destination for recreational activities such as paintball, airsoft, and archery and a biking path was recently added. When the snow flies, guests can head to the Polus Center in the Vulcan Mountains where they can hit the slopes for some winter fun.
In the center of Cluj-Napoca is Central Park where guests can take a walk, go for a run, or hit the water on a paddle boat. Union Square is a main attraction of the city and is the site of the second largest Gothic church in Romania—Saint Michael Church. Cluj-Napoca also has a large botanical garden filled with a variety of colorful and exotic plants and flowers.
Turda Salt Mine teaches visitors about the history of mining before heading down "into the belly of the earth" where they will find a Ferris wheel, an amphitheater, a mini-golf course, billiards, and a lake with boat rides. There are also a plethora of castles, fortresses, churches, and monuments worth exploring to learn more about the history of the area.
