Thanks to the eco resort's great location, guests can explore an area rich in culture, full of history, and jam-packed with leisure activities. Guests can visit the many museums and historical sites in the nearby towns Medlika and Gradac. The area also boasts the Kolpa river and the Ribnik Prilozje lake where guests can go fishing, and canoeing, kayaking, and rafting on the river. The river is also excellent for swimming, as it is one of the warmest rivers in Slovenia with temperatures rising to up to 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months. The river views can also be enjoyed on horseback or on a bicycle from the pathways adjacent to it.

Just two kilometers away, there is a treetop adventure park which is perfect for a fun family day out or three kilometers away a historic airplane is located along the road Črnomelj to Metlika, in the direction of the Otok village, five kilometers from Metlika. The plane is dedicated to all Slovenian and Bela Krajina airports operating during the time of the National Liberation Front. The plane can be seen at any time, while the sports airport of Prilozje is situated in the vicinity of the plane.

Bela Krajina is one of the most interesting Slovenian wine-growing districts. The mild climate and diverse soil enable the production of top-quality wine labels. Guests can taste many of them along the Bela Krajina wine road that connects the winegrowers of Črnomelj, Metlika, Semič, tourist farms, and other providers of typical local culinary products.
