This unique property is nestled within the beauty of Yala National Park, Sri Lanka, and is surrounded by wildlife, light forest, and grassy plains. Outside of the clearing, there is a thick forest with a pathway to access the stunning Nimalawa Lake. This area of the Yala National Park is famous for its leopards, with the highest density population of Sri Lankan leopard's which are a native subspecies.

The local communities of Kirinda and Tissamaharama are both within a half an hour drive and have eateries, temples, and sites of interest to discover.

The nearest airport is Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport which is about an hour away.

Glampers are invited to explore off of the beaten track and take part in a jeep safari with the camp manager and experienced naturalist team. The accommodation is not far from the main entrance of the Yala National Park and close to the Bundala National Park.

The area has an abundance of natural beauty with rare species of wildlife and the team offer comprehensive guided nature trails throughout the forest. Species include Sri Lankan leopards, land monitors, black napped hares, wild boar, elephants, deer, palm squirrels, giant squirrels, and butterflies. During the correct season, glampers can experience chena farm tours and learn about cultivation. Other opportunities include making curd in the local village, lake fishing tours, onsite Sri Lankan curry cooking demonstrations, and the opportunity to spend half a day in the local village with a family and experience daily life before sharing a traditional lunch. The nearby towns of Tissamaharama, Sithulpawwa, Kirinda, and Katharagama have beautiful temples and glampers can enjoy learning about the rituals, beliefs and cultural practices in Southern Sri Lanka, admiring the architecture and stunning paintings these buildings share.
