Unique Elephant-Shaped Villa for Eco-Friendly Retreat in Sri Lanka
This unique, elephant-shaped villa is a 40 ft, two-story mammoth. It consists of two large bedrooms and a lounge on the upper deck. There is a bathroom with running hot water and two toilets, and electricity. The villa is made entirely of wood and straw, serving as a reminder of the beauty of nature. The minimum occupancy is four guests, and the maximum is 10, though additional guests can be accommodated for an extra fee.
The restaurant on this property serves authentic Sri Lankan cuisine to ensure that you fully experience the local culture. You will be offered traditional dishes from the area, as well as traditional meals with interesting and unusual twists to allow your taste buds to try something new. The preparation of the meals is done as it was back in the day, but with occasional use of an electric oven or gas burner and use of refrigeration for perishables. When requested there is also the option for western dishes. Barbecues can also be arranged.
