Just minutes away from the sandy expanses of Northumberland's Heritage Coast, this eccentric beach hut rental oozes charm and is ideal for up to four guests to enjoy a coastal holiday in England. Boasting a tranquil rural setting in a paddock encompassed by a 1,000-acre working farm near Berwick-upon-Tweed, the master bedroom features a double bed , while two twin beds are up on the mezzanine floor above the living area. The bathroom has an electric shower, basin, and WC.

A pair of doors lead from the deck into a whimsical living area which radiates beach bum charm, with its blue-washed timber panels and enamelware colander lamp shade. There’s a compact kitchen, rustic wooden dining table and pair of comfy chairs to relax in and contemplate the ‘real flame effect’ tubular heater stove.

After exploring the local beaches and sights, you can settle into the hammock, placed temptingly in the front garden, or cosy up together around the fire pit and linger over extended meals on the sun-drenched timber deck. Two dogs are welcome for a fee and there are kennels on site if required. Guests can also hire Colin, a retro caravan at £20 per night (subject to availability) where younger members of the family can have their own little mini adventure - a fun den for day use, it can also be set up for sleeping overnight.
