We are within the stunning rural and coastal area of outstanding natural beauty on the rugged North Devon Coastline. This isn’t a highly commercialised area. It is quite remote, but Hartland village (about 15 minutes walk) has most facilities you could need. There is Spekes Mill waterfall nearby, and the dramatic and geologically stunning cliffs at Hartland Quay and Hartland point contrast with the wooded cliffs and bays that make up the walker's route to Clovelly.
The Shepherd's hut is set within our old vegetable garden, on our smallholding at the end of a dead-end lane. The garden is secluded, but we also live at the smallholding and you may sometimes see us.

The sea and coast path are nearby, ideal for all sorts of activities that you may wish to do. Hiking is a favourite, sometimes biking, but it’s quite hilly around here and our roads are pot holey!
