Guests will love a stay in one of these comfortable yurts for fun getaways in the heart of the incredible Lake District National Park, England. They accommodate six guests each with one double futon and four single futons. These can be converted into sofas during the day. Soft bedding and linens are provided. Guests will have access to on-site facilities including bathrooms and showers.
Each yurt features raised wooden floors with Moroccan rugs keeping in the warmth. There is also a lovely wood-burning stove to make sure everyone is nice and toasty on those cooler evenings. Guests can gather up on the sofas while playing a board game for quiet nights in. The stove features a hot plate and there is also an oven, gas hobs, and kitchenware for guests use. Further afield guests can take a short walk up to Aira Force or enjoy a beautiful day out walking along the shores of Ullswater or for those looking for a bit of adventure, they can walk and scramble their way up the famous Striding Edge to the top of Helvellyn. Biking is also great for those looking to explore the villages. The nearby lakes provide great canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. There is also plenty of wild swimming options. Fishing is available in Brotherswater, just down the road, or in many of the lakes and rivers. Climbing is a popular sport in the area or guests can simply relax and seek out the best picnic spots for a relaxing retreat.
