A prominent hill-side location with a panoramic viewpoint of North Yorkshire. A short walk from the Bivouac shop and cafe is a small community of seven yurts. Placed within a spacious meadow, this secluded yurt offers peace, quiet, and beautiful views. These secluded yurts have been created with a moss green canvas to blend into the surrounding landscape and is placed on its own individual platform to keep dry and create a small verandah. With one double bed and three single beds, these yurts can sleep up to five guests. The yurt comes with windows that allow guests to enjoy the views from the inside. The yurt has an open-plan layout, and guests will have access to their own running water and a small wood-burning stove, which will keep them nice and warm and can be used to help cook. There is a comfortable living area inside that creates the perfect laid-back atmosphere to sit back and relax. If guests go to the site’s main area, they will find internet access, hot showers, and toilets to use.

The property also provides wood to fuel the fire and bed linen is also provided. However, guests should please note there is no electricity so please bring torches!

The yurts are open between Easter and the end of October each year.

There is a beautiful on-site café with delicious, uncomplicated dishes and yummy breakfasts, and it is the perfect place to sit and relax.

There are also massages available on site, as well as a wide range of treatments like manicures and full body massages. Guests can pamper themselves while staying at this glamping site.

There is an incredible al fresco hot tub set in the woods. The location offers panoramic views of the surrounding Dales, and it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings.

Below the split-floor is the family den with a selection of toys to entertain the kids. For the more inquisitive just step through the doors of the family den into the properties walled garden where glampers can sit out and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
