In the heart of the off-grid living area is a wood-burning range with a large hob top and roomy oven for cooking. The flaming wood-burner will keep guests warm and toasty, while the solar-powered fairy lights and paraffin lamps will ensure guests are never left in the dark. As well as the wood burner, the farm provides a gas ring for brewing up a quick cup of tea or coffee, or cooking when glampers don’t fancy lighting the stove.
The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils including sharp knives, things like cling film and tin foil and everyday ingredients such as oil, vinegar, tea, coffee, and herbs. Tea towels and hand towels are also provided along with washing up essentials (eco of course). Plus, there’s a small solar powered fridge for keeping wine and milk nice and cool.
On the front platform, a sofa, chairs, and a table allow guests to enjoy the sunset followed by an evening under the stars while toasting marshmallows or barbecuing on the fire pit.

For glampers that have an extra couple of people, or older children wanting even more adventure, that’s not a problem here. Guests can hire a unique Tentsile tree tent—unlike anything they have ever stayed in! It will be erected in the woods about 75 meters from the safari tent.

Situated in a spacious grassy field, this is the perfect place for glampers to unwind and drink in the surrounding beauty in a truly tranquil spot. Guests are welcome to walk the farm and enjoy unrivaled views of the South Downs, perhaps glimpsing local wildlife such as hares, buzzards or deer. What's not to love about just sitting back in the evening and watching the sun set over the valley, before snuggling into a real bed surrounded by the quiet noises of the Hampshire countryside? There’s a chest full of classic board games, or guests can simply chat around the mesmerizing wood-burner and plan tomorrow’s adventures together using the maps or ideas folder provided by the host.
For those who prefer to be more active, the farm offers so much to do including walking and cycling—Meon Valley, South Downs Way and Monarchs Way are all nearby and offer fantastic trails. Glampers can also stroll to the picturesque village of West Meon with its delightful pub, award winning butcher, community shop and flourishing café. If guests can tear themselves away from the barbecue and home-cooked meals onsite, there are some great local pubs buried in the village that the hosts can recommend upon arrival. Within 10 miles of the farm guests can try their hand at fly fishing, visit Hinton Ampner House with its beautiful gardens, or take a ride on the incredible heritage railway track, Watercress Line.
