This area of Scotland offers glampers a vast and varied array of activities.

At the back of the campsite, is a wooded path which leads glampers directly onto the Great Glen Way forestry track, for handy on-site dog walking, but also within the local area there are many lovely walks to do. Explore trails, lakes, and waterfalls, or go dolphin spotting, whiskey tasting, or go and feed the deer in the highlands.

Not far from the local village of Invermoriston—situated three miles north from the campsite—and with Fort Augustus only a further four miles south of the campsite where glampers can find in either direction local shops, post office, pubs, and fish & chip takeaway's.

Near to the site, glampers will find the historic Urquhart Castle, off the A82. Also nearby is the Caledonia Canal and Locks based in Fort Augustus perfect for a bit of boat watching! There are also many operators running various cruises on Loch Ness for a bit of Nessie hunting. Further on from the site is Fort William (36 miles, 51 mins away by road) where glampers can find the spectacular mountain range of Ben Nevis, Loch Linnhe, and the Commando Memorial near the village of Spean Bridge.
