There are gorgeous walks along the coast where you can head south towards the nearby, popular seaside town of Aldeburgh or further up the coast towards RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve and National Trust's Dunwich Heath - both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Dolphin Inn is just a minutes walk away serving excellent food using local producers, local ales and a friendly service or there is The Kitchen, a little further into the village offering light lunches, cakes, savoury snacks, teas and coffees. You can also take a short drive or 25 minute walk to Aldeburgh where there is a great variety of cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops.
