This is a very sweet cabin in the woods, on the water, with ultimate privacy. There are no neighbors, meaning guests will be sharing this slice of heaven with wildlife and the occasional canoe gliding by. The cabin sits right over the lake with a private waterfront, dock and boathouse. The over sized windows capture the beauty of the natural surroundings, so the views are stunning, even at night. Guests can turn off the lights, turn on the fire, and enjoy the reflection of the moon on the lake. The sight of the fog lifting in the morning is worth the early rise.
Four kayaks and a canoe are available in the waterfront boathouse for easy access to Lake Piseco and the oulet. Two sets of snowshoes are provided in winter.
There are two bedrooms in this glamping cabin with one queen-size bed and one double-size bed. It is great for couple’s retreats, but up to four guests can be accommodated. This cabin features beautiful cathedral ceilings and has an open main room with a full kitchen, a dining, and living area. There is also a gas fireplace to maintain a cozy atmosphere during colder nights. The separate TV room is for reading or watching Netflix movies and the desk in front of the window is perfect for those guests who wish to work for a while. There is one bathroom with a shower, and an hot outdoor shower during warmer months.
An outdoor fire pit, a barbecue grill, and outdoor speakers are for enjoying the warm summer nights while roasting marshmallows, and relaxing under the starry skies. Read More

This accommodation is a very sweet cabin in the woods and on the water, with ultimate privacy. There are no neighbors; guests are sharing this slice of heaven with nothing more than the local wildlife and an occasional canoe gliding by. They are also spoiled with beautiful views year round.
The cabin sits right over the lake with 500 feet of private waterfront, a dock, and private boathouse. The oversized windows capture the beauty of the natural surroundings, so the views are stunning, even at night. The best is when guests turn on the fire, turn off the lights, and enjoy the reflection of the moon off the lake...just beautiful. The sight of the fog lifting in the morning is worth the early rise.
The accommodation can sleep up to four, but this is the perfect romantic getaway for two—a great destination for couch potatoes and adventurers alike. There is no need to leave the comfort of the sofa to experience the beauty of the local wilderness, and those who do venture out have plenty of hiking, kayaking, swimming, exploring, skiing, snowshoe, and snowmobile opportunities. The hosts supply local guidebooks and restaurant recommendations.
The open floor plan with cathedral ceilings creates a spacious, airy main room with kitchen, dining and living area, with an easy-to-turn-on gas fireplace. There are two bedrooms, one with queen-size bed and one with a double bed. A separate TV room is for watching movies, reading, or enjoying that mid-afternoon nap. There are also great lake views from this sweet little room.
Other amenities include an outdoor fire pit, a Weber barbecue, Wi-Fi, a 40-inch flat-screen television for DVDs and Netflix (no cable), a landline phone (no cell service here), a desk for working, and a fabulous Sonos Stereo system with indoor and outdoor speakers.
The hosts supply two sets of adult snowshoes and one child pair in the winter. An all-wheel-drive vehicle is necessary to navigate the snowy dirt driveway in winter. It is plowed regularly but can be tricky in icy weather. The other option is to leave the car at the end of the driveway and walk in (rarely necessary).
In spring and summer, the host provides four kayaks, one two-person canoe, and adult life preservers.
This is a great home for self-reliant, independent travelers looking for a very comfortable, private, and pristine accommodation in a unique and special spot. Piseco and the surrounding area are beautiful but have limited entertainment venues other than nature hikes, mountains, wildlife, lakes, and rivers.
This is a self-service cabin in an exceptionally private and pretty setting. Assistance is available if needed, the hosts have a property manager, a housekeeper, and snowplow persons but the hosts are not local.
There is a generator for the rare occasion that there is a power outage.
The hosts supply local guidebooks and restaurant recommendations.

Guests will be able to take a break from the bustle of the city and be rejuvenated by nature at this luxury camping site in New York. Located in the beautiful Adirondack Park overlooking a magnificent lake, this glamping cabin is encircled by woods, mountains, and lush wildlife. Although it is peaceful and secluded, this glamping site is also only a short drive from Route 30, so restaurants and bars are within easy reach. Most likely, however, guests will be spending the majority of their nature retreat enjoying their piece of private waterfront that has a dock and a boathouse. Read More

The housekeeper works Monday and/or Friday here, so arrival and departure dates must be on a Monday or Friday.
Occasional exceptions can be made during November through April, so glampers should please inquire if Monday and Friday do not work for them.
Similar to camping, this cabin is a "leave no trace" home. Guests must agree to take out what they bring in, this includes recyclables. A small amount (less than one bag) may be left for the housekeeper to take to the dump, but she simply cannot do this if a lot are left or if a mess, so guests are asked to keep this in mind when selecting this home and doing their shopping.
The property does have a garbage pick-up service, but they will not take recyclables.
Guests should note that there is a small bridge nearby that separates the outlet from Piseco Lake, and they can hear the cars going over the bridge when outside (but not while inside), which is the only thing the hosts wish was different. Guests must agree to follow the accommodation's rules and the town's strict recycling rules, which will be emailed prior to arrival.
PLEASE NOTE: The housekeeper has set aside her Monday and Friday for the accommodation, so arrivals and departures must be on one of these days. November through April, there may be more flexibility, and guests can inquire with the hosts. Read More
