It is somewhere nestled within the Adirondack Mountains, which makes it the perfect place to come on a camping trip in the heart of nature. The nearby Pigeon Lake Wilderness provides some of the best wildlife spotting opportunities, and Raquette Lake boasts an abundance of activities, such as wild swimming and boating. Five Ponds Wilderness is a striking area of rocky wetlands that will add something extra to your usual hike, and the nearby High Peaks Wilderness has some of the bets mountain views over the whole range.
