Secluded and Off-Grid, Pet Friendly Cabin on Private Pond in Glenfield, New York

Cabin in Glenfield, NY

6 guests • 3 bedrooms • 2 beds • 1.5 bathrooms

One private pond retreat, entirely yours. A king-bed geodesic dome and two companion cabins provide three separate sleeping spaces for up to six guests. Enjoy a dockside wood-fired hot tub, heated outdoor shower, watercraft, fishing gear, fire pit, private trails and Starlink Wi-Fi.

Your full-retreat reservation includes the dome and both companion cabins. The dome has a king bed. The kitchen cabin has a double bed in a loft reached by fold-out stairs. The second companion cabin has a double bed. The cabins sit about 150 feet behind the dome.

The kitchen cabin provides a gas stove and oven, cookware, utensils, a compact refrigerator and a stovetop espresso maker. Drinking water, linens, towels and firewood are supplied. There is no microwave or toaster. Bring charcoal if you prefer it for the outdoor wood-or-charcoal grill.

On the pond, enjoy two kayaks, two paddleboats and a rowboat. Fishing poles and tackle are provided.

The dome's convenience toilet is for urination only. A separate outhouse is provided for bowel movements, and bathing is in the heated outdoor shower. There is no conventional indoor full bathroom. The kitchen loft's fold-out stairs may not suit guests with limited mobility. The wood-fired hot tub needs time to heat.

Pondshire is seasonal and closed from November 1 to April 1 each year. There is a two-night minimum. Choose your dates and guest count to receive live availability and pricing.
