Upper Saranac Lake

Upper Saranac Lake lies in the northernmost region of the Adirondack Mountains, and it makes up a large portion of the sprawling, serene lake region that is nestled within the mountains. It is a place that many people visit to enjoy a range of water-based activities, and also to take in the unique setting you can’t find anywhere else. Here, you can hike around the water’s edge as you catch picturesque lakeside views, and you can also go boating and fishing when the sun starts to shine. In some parts of the lakes, you can go wild swimming to cool down in hot weather. The Saint Regis Canoe Area has fantastic opportunities to canoe across calm waters, and the nearby High Peaks Wilderness boasts incredible mountain views when you climb on the mountain sides.
