This charming vacation rental is located in Afton Mountain, Virginia, and can accommodate up to three guests. The upper-level loft is furnished with a white-birch single bed, with a pull out full-size futon situated on the bottom floor. While the barn has no bathroom, glampers can easily access the full private bathrooms in the main house, which are equipped with a standing shower and tub combination, a toilet, and a sink. Linens and towels are provided.
The barn rental is also furnished with a few chairs and writing desks, with an armoire stocked with books and a window overlooking the property garden. Glampers can also sit on the furnished front porch of the main house or use the paths winding around the property, some of which lead to the horse stables while others lead through the woods. This rental is located in Afton, Virginia, and is situated on a picturesque horse farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is about seven miles from the towns of Waynesboro and Crozet in northwest Virginia. The property expands over 21 acres, with rolling hills, flourishing gardens, wooded trails, and horse pastures spread throughout the land with the mountains as the backdrop. The accommodation is only about four miles from the Skyline Drive, a scenic highway that extends along the mountains overlooking the Shenandoah Valley. The city of Charlottesville is about 20 miles to the east, while Staunton is about 15 miles to the west. Glampers can book yoga classes, private yoga instruction, massage therapy, chi gong classes, and horsemanship instruction at the farm, among other classes. These classes require a scheduled appointment.

Glampers staying on this peaceful horse farm will find plenty to do right on the property, whether they prefer relaxing in the reading nook with a good book or going for a stroll on the paths that lead through the woods. Glampers can also wander through the gardens or watch the horses graze on the land, or try out one of the yoga classes or get some instruction in Chi Gong. In the afternoon, glampers can head into Crozet or Waynesboro for a bite to eat in a local cafe or restaurant. The area also boasts a number of vineyards and breweries, like King Family Vineyards, Starr Hill Brewery, and White Hall Vineyards, where guests can book a tasting or sit down for a charcuterie plate and a glass of wine.
The property is also close to Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Mountains, where glampers can hike, mountain bike, or kayak and swim in the summer months. Wintergreen Ski Resort is under half an hour away from the farm, where guests can alpine ski, snowboard, or cross-country ski in the winter. Skyline Drive is the perfect location to end the day, with multiple viewpoints accessible from the highway where glampers can watch the sunset over the valley.
