During warm weather months, locals and visitors alike enjoy the lush greenery and mild temperatures and like to go hiking, biking, and horseback riding throughout the local trails throughout the region.Throughout the year, but especially as the season changes to autumn, wildlife watching and photography are extremely popular due to the changing leaves and various species that roam in the forests and hills. Nearby rivers such as Big Reed Island Creek and New River are excellent locations for those who love water sports such as swimming, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, and many types of fishing.
