The property is also located close to Appalachian Trail/Blue Ridge mountains, James River, Appomattox, Monticello, University of Virginia and Colonial Williamsburg, as well as there being eight wineries within an hours drive from the site.

Glampers can tour central Virginia's wine country or delve into America's history at Revolutionary and Civil War battle sites. Being home to three early American presidents, Jefferson, Monroe and Madison, glampers can take an easy hour drive to visit their homes.
