With access to more than 50 miles of free stone streams on the Salmon River system, fly fishing is hands down the main attraction for both experienced and novice fisherman. Fly fishing lessons are available on site as well as some basic equipment which can be rented for guests who don't have access to their own. A fishing license is not required for trout fishing on the ranch's private pond but is required for all other waterways for guests who are over the age of 14. Fishing licenses can be acquired locally but not on the ranch premises. There are nine surrounding lakes that are perfect for fishing native Cutthroat and other species of fish as well.

The breathtaking hiking and mountain biking trails along the old wagon tracks (once leading travelers to their dreams of finding gold out west during the gold rush of the 1800s) and abandoned logging roads range from gentle to strenuous making them activities that all guests can enjoy. In mid-July, for a six to eight week period guests can have a once in a lifetime experience seeing the salmon performing their ritual mating dance in the appropriately named Salmon River. Kelly's White Water Park is the perfect place for guests seeking an incredible kayaking or river surfing experience. Located only a two-hour car ride away from the ranch, this famous water park is perfect for a day trip. Guests can rent all kayaking equipment near the park.

Guests can also enjoy various activities right on the ranch property such as volleyball, horseshoe games, bull head roping, and antique crocheting. Due to its remote location, the ranch offers photographers an incredible opportunity to capture nature in its purest form. From the incredible mountain views to the abundant wildlife, there is something beautiful to be seen around every meandering stream.
