The cabin has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. In the first bedroom, guests will find a queen-size bed set on a log wood frame, a wood-burning fireplace encased in stones, and French doors opening onto a patio. The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, a shared nightstand, and a rocking chair. In the third bedroom, guests will find two full-size beds and a shared nightstand. The first bathroom is fitted with a toilet, a sink, and a walk-in shower. The second bathroom features a bathtub, a separate shower, and a bidet. One of the bathrooms is wheelchair-accessible.
In the living room, guests will find a matching set of leather seating consisting of a sofa, a love seat, and an armchair, all of which are nestled around a massive wood-burning stone fireplace. In between the wooden floors and tall, wood-paneled A-frame-style roof of the living room, there is a wall full of floor-to-ceiling windows providing expansive views of the cabin's surroundings.
The fully-equipped kitchen comes with appliances such as an oven, a stove, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a coffeemaker, along with a breakfast bar that seats two. Other amenities include Wi-F and a wheelchair-accessible entrance ramp.
Outside, guests will find a porch overlooking the confluence of the Rosebud and Stillwater Rivers, where guests can go fishing for rainbow and brown trout.

Pack trips for groups of two or more guests are available for $600 for two days and one night, $900 for three days and two nights, $1,500 for five days and four nights, and $2,100 for seven days and six nights.
A working ranch experience is available for $285 per person per day, during which guests will participate in seasonal ranch activities such as calving, lambing, and cattle driving.
Drop camps are available for $200 per horse per day, with a two horse minimum and a maximum of 150 pounds per pack horse.
Trail rides are available for $30 for one hour, $55 for two hours, and $165 for a full day (including lunch).
A saddle to paddle adventure is available for $110 per adult and $70 per child. The adventure combines horseback riding with a whitewater rafting trip.
Guided day hikes (including lunch) are available for $85.
Food and catering can be provided for an additional fee.

The cabin belongs to a fifth generation working horse, sheep, and cattle ranch, where guests can experience an authentic taste of ranch life amid an expansive backdrop of wide-open fields beneath an equally wide-open sky. To the south lies the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness of Custer National Forest, which encompasses 944,000 acres of rugged terrain, expansive tundra plateaus, active glaciers, alpine meadows, hundreds of lakes, dozens of streams, deep canyons, and verdant forests filled with spruces, firs, and pines. A variety of wildlife call the wilderness home, including bighorn sheep, mountain goats, moose, coyotes, wolves, black bears, and grizzly bears.
The cabin is about an hour from Billings, where the nearest international airport is located.

The ranch to which this cabin belongs can provide guests with customized three to 10-day activity packages that are tailored to their preferences. Activity options include guided horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking through Custer National Forest and the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness; white water rafting and fly fishing for trout on the Stilwater River; and participating in activities on the ranch, such as calving, lambing, and cattle driving.
Fishing on the Stillwater, Yellowstone, and Bighorn Rivers can be arranged through Montana Fly Fishing and Bighorn Country Outfitters. Whitewater rafting is available through Adventure White Water and Absaroka River Adventures.
The Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness and Custer National Forest are laced with more than 1,500 miles of trails, providing plenty of opportunities for guided and self-led exploration of southern Montana's majestic landscape. While exploring the trails, guests will also enjoy ample opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife viewing, with eagles, merlins, deer, foxes, coyotes, elk, and moose being among the species of birds and mammals that guests may spot.
