About this place

This rustic cabin in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana has a large loft with a king-size bed and a queen-size bed in the bedroom on the main floor. On this floor, there is also a living room with a futon, a bathroom, and a small kitchen with a refrigerator, four-burner electric stove and oven, and a sink. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a toaster oven, a toaster, and a coffee maker, plus dishes, cooking pans, and utensils. The bathroom has an antique clawfoot bathtub with a shower attachment. Linens and towels are provided.

The cabin is decorated with original watercolor paintings and limited edition prints which are available to purchase. There's a deck on either side of the cabin, which provides a gorgeous 360-degree view of Bitterroot's rugged mountains and mystic wilderness. Guests can relax outside and take in the view, as there are an outdoor dining set, an umbrella, and rocking chairs. The charcoal barbecue and fire pit are perfect additions to a chilly evening.

Parking is available next to the cabins, and the cabins also come equipped with air conditioning, heating, a deck, an outdoor grill, and a fire pit.

The host provides all linens, towels, and paper products. Free Wi-Fi and DirectTV satellite are included, too.

There are numerous hiking trails which are just minutes away from the cabins. The area is known for fly fishing due to the variety of lakes in the vicinity. Guests can also horseback ride, hunt, raft, kayak or tube. Those with a boat, can jet/water-ski, or simply cruise along the crisp lakes in their pastime.

For those visiting in winter and willing to brave Montana's slopes, the Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski Resort is only 45 minutes away and has skiing and snowboarding. Missoula is 50 minutes away and is home to a large collection of shops and galleries and restaurants. Guests can also take a long drive to Flathead Lake or Glacier National Park—or take a drive on the scenic mountain called "Road to the Sun."
