Mineral County is the ideal glamping destination with a wide range of outdoor activities on offer in incredible locations. Guests can head to the ancient rock formations of the Alberton Gorge on the Clark Fork River for supreme white water rafting, kayaking, and canoeing while the river is stocked with trout, steelhead, and salmon making it a great fishing destination too. Scenic biking and hiking trails can be found along the Hiawatha Trail and the Olympian Trail which are both within a short drive from the cabins, however, if guests are happy to drive a little further, Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park are two of the most stunning places of natural beauty, not just in Montana, but in the United States and well worth the trip.
In winter, the Lookout Ski Area offers not just world-class slopes for skiing and snowboarding but a fun, family-friendly area for tubing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. The Lozeau Lodge also offers a private walking trail on the property and a labyrinth, as well as plenty of space for outdoor sports like horseshoes, and volleyball. And evenings around one of the campfire pits. Biking, hiking, wildlife photographing or just watching are all popular activities as well. The property also offers facilities to accommodate group events such as weddings, retreats, or family reunions, complete with covered pavilion, sporting ceiling fans, lighting, heating, preparation area, and bar. Chairs and tables are available as well.
