On Laurel Island in East Hampton, Connecticut, not far from the Salmon River State Forest, there are five cabins accommodating up to 25 guests, making this a great choice for those looking for a group getaway. Guests rent only the cabins they need, whether that be one cabin, all five, or anywhere in between. For all bookings of more than two guests, an extra fee of $50 per day is required for the use of the additional cabins.

The A-Frame cabin can accommodate six guests, the Bay cabin can accommodate six guests, the Chalet can accommodate eight guests, the Deckhouse cabin can accommodate eight guests, and the Captain's cabin can accommodate four guests.

In the A-Frame cabin, there are three bedrooms and one-half bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed and a twin-size bed. The second bedroom has two twin-size beds. The third bedroom has a twin-size bed. In the half-bathroom, guests will find a toilet and a sink.

In the Bay cabin, there are three bedrooms and a half bathroom. Two bedrooms feature a set of twin beds while the third bedroom has a single bed. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet and a sink.

The Captain's cabin has two bedrooms, both featuring a queen-size bed, while the bathroom has a toilet and a sink for comfort.

In the Chalet cabin, there are four bedrooms and one half bathroom with a toilet and a sink. Two bedrooms have a queen-size bed, a third bedroom has one single bed, while the last bedroom features a set of comfy twins.

The Deckhouse cabin offers four bedrooms too, with a queen bed in two of the bedrooms, three single beds in another, and a queen-size bed with a single bed in the last bedroom. The bathroom has a sink and a toilet.

Each cabin has its own fully-equipped kitchen, private dock, and waterfront deck, in addition to running water and electricity. All cabins have access to a shower house with two shower rooms. Guests must arrange their own food, drinking water, and bedding. For those who have a boat, the docks are available for use free of charge, and there are rowboats provided for each cabin.

All accommodations on the island have a source of water and electricity. Each rental has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, and crockery. There are private docks and expansive decks or porches in each of the cabins and lodge. Guests have access to canoes, kayaks, and a stand up board to share. Furthermore, guests will have equipment for a game of volleyball, badminton, bocce ball, croquet, and other sports. There is free parking near the premises of the property.

Check-in and check-out times can be negotiated as long as check-in times are before sunset.

Quiet hours on the island must be respected from 22:00 to 7:00. Grilling is only allowed where grills are located on the property. The use of fireworks is prohibited.

Dock moorings are on a first come first serve basis. Guests must be considerate of other guests and their boats.

Fishing outside the property is permitted as long as guests abide by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Fishing on the property is allowed in in front of and bordering the premises being rented.

Locked areas are off-limits to guests. Property owners and agents are not liable for any injury, accidents, loss and/or stolen items during the rental period.

Local assistance is available on the island for any problems with the cabins. Pets are allowed with prior authorization. They are expected to be well behaved and cleaned up after.

Cars can be parked on the mainland and transportation to the island will be provided on a pontoon boat.

In order to rent the entire Island, the minimum charge is for 20 people.
