Sharon

Sharon is a small town located in Litchfield County, Connecticut bounded on the east by the Housatonic River. It is close to the incredible Kent Falls State Park, a lush forest filled with enchanting waterfalls, magical walking trails, and spectacular foliage during fall. Head up Cobble Mountain for fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, or check out Mt Everett State Park to the north. Housatonic Meadows State Park is a 451-acre state park ideal for camping, hiking, canoeing, fishing and picnicking. The Ellsworth Hill Orchard & Berry Farm is also a nice place to spend an afternoon picking apples. Or head to the Sharon Historical Society & Museum to learn more about the history of the region.
